We connect sports clubs with qualified physios and sports therapists.
Co-Founded by Shell Patrick, a qualified Sports Therapist and Jay Henderson, a Rugby Coach.
We wanted to give clubs and physios a way of better supporting players without the pressure of signing up for a whole season.
We developed Physio-On-Demand (POD) to offer rugby clubs additional medical support for both matches and training.
Giving physios and sports therapists the opportunity to earn extra income without having to commit to a full season.
We recognise the growing difficulty in finding the right physio or sports therapist for your players.
So if your usual physio is away for the week, or you have a double game and need extra help, we're here to lend a hand.

Specialists in sports injuries, POD sports therapists can provide:
Experts in body movement and function, POD physios can provide:
Qualified and experienced in providing immediate medical assistance
POD first aiders can provide:
To optimise player function, wellbeing and to help players safely and confidently return to rugby.

We're always looking to add to our qualified team of first aiders, physios & sports therapists.

Between work and life commitments, rugby didn’t become a prominent feature again until 2015 when I was invited to a social game at a local rugby club in Berkshire. I was welcomed into the club as though I’d always been there and I became a regular spectator.
I started as a first aider in the 2016/17 season supporting the men’s senior sides at home and away games after completing the Emergency First Aid in Rugby Union course.
I’ve since qualified as a sports therapist and also as a mental health first aider in partnership with the rugby mental health charity, Looseheadz.
Physio on Demand was created to support players, their wellbeing and performance, giving them reassurance and confidence that their physical welfare is given the attention and focus it deserves, allowing them to concentrate on delivering on the pitch. In turn, this assists clubs in retaining players by providing the match day and training medical support required.

Needless to say, coaching suits me better than playing ever did!
I adore the game!
I'm a big advocate of LooseHeadz, spending too much on their MND merchandise. Mental Health is often an after thought, especially within Rugby, whichever club I've been at, I've made it a priority.
Physio on Demand emerged from a pressing need to better support players, especially at grassroots levels where resources are limited. If we can contribute to player well-being, particularly in smaller clubs, then that's a win in my book.
